Eurovision Union’s Weekly Playlist (45/52)

Each week, Eurovision Union brings you a specially curated playlist featuring songs recently released by Eurovision or National Final artists, and a few of our old favourites. This week, we’ve got a whole bunch of songs from some of our favourite artists from both Eurovision and National finals, including songs from the newly announced Eurovision 2018 artists!

Listen to the playlist here:

We’ll start off with the 2018 artists which includes Finnish representative Saara Aalto! Finland ditched the usual national final format and internally selected the widely popular artist who has tried to go to Eurovision twice before, once with the song No Fear. This week we’ve got the dance remix of No Fear! The other artist we’ve got this week who will be returning to Eurovision is Waylon, who was one half of The Common Linnets from the Netherlands act of 2014. This week we’ve featured his popular song, Love Drunk. We’ve also got a song that will be a part of the Estonian national selection of 2018 titled (Can’t Keep Calling) Misty by Frankie Animal.

Now let’s move on to new releases from former Eurovision stars, including Latvian group Brainstorm, who have just dropped their new single My Mind’s so Lost (On You). Eric Saade also has a few new releases, including the song we’ve featured on this week’s playlist called Allt man kan önska sig. We’ve also got Elhaida Dani on this week’s playlist with her latest release titled Më Mbaj. Hungarian representative from 2015 Boggie has also released a new album titled 3, and we’ve taken the song Run to the River. Turkish band Athena have recently released remixes of their 2014 song Ses Etme, but we’ve taken the original version of the song.

From other Eurovision artists, we’ve got ZAA, which features Sanja Vucic with the song Ne Odustajem. We’ve got Ukrainian artist Svetlana Loboda wit the song Krysa-Revnost, and Dutch artist Anouk with the song I Just Met A Man. From Armenia, we’ve got one sixth of Genealogy, Tamar Kaprelian, who has expressed interest in representing Armenia solo, and this week we’ve got her song Yours To Keep. We’ve got former Macedonian representative Kaliopi with her song Pozeli, and former Lithuanian representative Donny Montell with his song Visa Kita Tau – both these artists two time Eurovision representatives!

Now from former national finalists, we’ve got Norwegian act Elin & The Woods with their newest release Sápmi. We’ve got Italian artist Michele Bravi with his newest release titled Tanto Per Cominciare. We’ve got Maltese Daniel Testa with his previous national final song Something in the Way. From Latvia, we’ve got regular national finalist Markus Riva with his newest release Kā Būs, Tā Būs.
